The resulting data is intended to help technicians to quickly and efficiently identify network issues and better target network optimisation activities.
“Astellia’s track record and global experience in passive network monitoring will help us gain more visibility and control of what is happening on our network,” said Amílcar Safeca, deputy CEO at Unitel Angola.
“Hereby, we can increase problem resolution efficiency and increase our knowledge of our subscribers’ usage.”
The agreement follows Unitel’s recent decision to reserve $1.35 billion for network investment in Angola from 2013-2015.
