The service uses Ka-band capacity on SES’s Astra 2F satellite and offers up to 20 Mbps download speeds for people who do not have access to fixed-line broadband.
BeyonDSL will market and distribute the service in the UK and Ireland which requires users to install a satellite dish to access the Luxembourg-based company’s satellite network.

SES has expanded its service into Germany in a similar agreement with Newtec.
