The move is intended to enable the delivery of its full suite of high-speed international connectivity solutions to enterprise and carrier customers in India.
Enterprise and carrier customers based in India will now be able to leverage Pacnet’s extended service portfolio, including IP VPN, MPLS, Ethernet International Private Lines (EIPL), International Private Lines and IP Transit and Dedicated Internet Access (DIA).
“The extension of Pacnet’s international connectivity footprint in India solidifies our presence in the market as a provider of world class solutions,” said Sunanda Das, managing director at Pacnet India.
Pacnet built an international gateway PoP in Chennai in 2011 and provided interconnection to Singapore. It also has access through the EAC-C2C subsea cable and the trans-Pacific cable EAC Pacific.
