The services are delivered over CityFibre’s 100% pure fibre network, and are designed to deliver greater efficiency and more competition, as well as enable further growth in the area.
The company’s Internet Leased Line service was initially launched in York earlier this year, and Rob Hamlin, head of business development at CityFibre, said its service is among the most advanced in the world.
“With this service, customers are able to employ more efficient working methods, such as cloud-computing, advanced teleconferencing, real-time communications and VoIP, and transfer huge files and data in seconds,” he said.
“These services transform workplaces, increasing employee efficiency and job satisfaction.”
Users are expected to benefit from low latency, almost limitless capacity and guaranteed bandwidth to ensure the service never slows down.
“City Fibre has invested heavily in the town of Bournemouth to transform it into a ‘Gigabit Town’,” said Greg Mesch, CEO at CityFibre.
“Bournemouth is a fantastic location for business, and the launch of these services will enable the business community to thrive.”
