The company has targeted India as an important market for its services and will also begin the sale of its digital presence platform, Limelight Orchestrate, in the country.
"India is an increasingly growing market for us,” said Andy Clark, group VP for APAC at Limelight Networks.
“There is a high demand for services that improve the quality and presence of data across networks, as well as a real need to reduce the latency issues that have plagued businesses here for years.
The Limelight Orchestrate platform is designed to enable both small and large organisations to increase their digital presence in India, and Limelight expects this, and the Mumbai PoP, to notably increase its growth potential.
At this year’s ITW in Chicago, Limelight Networks signed an agreement with Etisalat to join its SmartHub in the Middle East.
