Portugal Telecom announced it would merge with Oi in October last year, to create the largest telecoms operator in the Portuguese speaking world.
Bava told Reuters that both companies were committed to completing the merger. “The focus is to complete the merger, which may take place at the end of April or sometime in the second quarter,” he said.
