Arcstar UCaaS integrates VoIP phones, web and audio conferencing, instant messaging and other collaboration tools in the cloud. The platform is now operating in three regions – Japan, Europe and the US – allowing NTT customers to unify their global communications structure, rather than operate on independent systems in each region.
The move significantly reduces latency, with communications equipment now based in Europe and US.
Arcstar UCaaS stores personal information locally, satisfying the requirements of the EU data protection directive, which has strengthened restrictions on retaining personal information in communications facilities located in other regions.
