The virtual PoP is said to enable the Indonesian operator to connect to over 500 network operators pre-connected to Epsilon’s exchange.
TransIndonesia serves a population of 200 million people across Java and Sumatra, and the move is expected to enhance its global connectivity.
In January, Epsilon indicated its focus on the Middle East region when it established a sales office in Dubai, to cope with growing demand from operators in the Middle East for IPX services and local access solutions.
The company’s operations in the Middle East are already generating 15% of its revenue, Epsilon reported.
