Anam Technologies will deliver its solution across Digicel’s 31 networks in the Caribbean, Central America and Asia-Pacific, following a trial of the ASSURE solution in Jamaica last year.
The ASSURE solution is designed to allow Digicel to take full advantage of the projected traffic growth in these regions.
“We are always looking for new and innovative ways to get the best out of our network and in turn deliver the best experience for our valued customers,” said Conor Clarke, international business director at Digicel Group.
“Anam’s solution means we will be well positioned to take advantage of the projected traffic growth.”
Anam’s solution is expected to allow Digicel to manage and control its SMS traffic, as well as detect and measure any revenue leakage on the networks.
“Digicel is a very exciting company to work with,” said Louise O’Sullivan, CEO at Anam Technologies.
“This represents a strong seal of approval for both Anam’s offering to the market and the quality and relevance of our product portfolio.”
In January 2013, Digicel signed an agreement with SES and O3B Networks for the delivery of internet capacity to Papua New Guinea.
