Ownership of the venture, called Victus Networks, will be split between both companies, and is designed to facilitate the sharing of 2G and 3G mobile infrastructure – following a previous agreement made in June 2013.
The joint venture is officially due to launch on March 10 2014 and both companies confirmed to a local newspaper that it will be largely focussed on connectivity outside of urban areas in the country.
Earlier this month, Wind Hellas upgraded its core network infrastructure in partnership with Ericsson.
