Through AT&T’s network, K+S will now be able to connect its operations across 200 locations in Europe, North and South America and Asia.
The agreement, spanning five years, will see AT&T provide a hybrid VPN service to K+S.
It is designed to enable data to flow over MPLS connections, and ensure the largest K+S locations have highly reliable access to AT&T’s MPLS network.
A second VPN connection will also be established to offer benefits of backup and efficient use of network bandwidth.
“It’s clear that K+S wanted better visibility of its communications around the world. That’s just what our strategic network services are designed to give them, providing them with a platform for supporting their future success,” said Joachim Kathmann, VP of Germany and Central Europe, AT&T.
