The country’s four existing mobile operators – T-Mobile, Polkomtel, P4 and Orange – will take part in the auction, as well as two other companies; NetNet and Hubb Investments.
The country’s regulator UKE has made 19 blocks of spectrum in the 800MHz and 2.6GHz bands available in the auction.
In February, UKE cancelled the country’s LTE spectrum auction, blaming a technical anomaly. In order to eliminate any possible formal and legal doubts that may accompany the auction procedure following the technical issue, the regulator cancelled the auction completely.
