Matthew Erickson, existing president of physical infrastructure at the company, and Chris Morley, existing president of cloud and connectivity, have both been appointed COOs of their respective business units.
“Matt and Chris are talented, experienced executives who have a deep understanding of our business and consistently deliver results,” said Dan Caruso, Zayo chairman and CEO.
“By appointing Matt and Chris as chief operating officers, we are recognising the broad leadership role each plays within Zayo.”
Erickson was an original member of Zayo Group and has held a variety of operating leadership roles since the company’s inception in 2007. As COO of physical infrastructure, he will be responsible for Zayo’s metro and long-haul dark fibre, co-location and mobile infrastructure product groups.
Morley holds 19 years’ experience in the technology sector, and joined Zayo in 2009. As head of Zayo’s cloud and connectivity sector, he oversees the wavelength, Ethernet, IP, cloud and live video product groups, as well as the 24/7 network control centre (NCC).
