GENBAND appoints EVP of global sales and marketing

GENBAND has appointed Patrick Joggerst as EVP of global sales and marketing at the company.

Joggerst has been promoted from his existing role as CMO for GENBAND, to include management of the company’s sales organisation, and will continue reporting to chairman and CEO David Walsh.

“Patrick’s more than 30 years’ experience in leading sales and marketing for global brands in the telecommunications and technology industry will serve him well in this expanded role,” Walsh said.

“I have worked closely with Patrick in the past and am confident that he is the right person to help us accelerate the business.”

Joggerst served extensively in the telecoms sector prior to joining GENBAND, working for companies such as BroadSoft, Aricent, Global Crossing and AT&T among others.

In November 2014, Genband partnered with Nokia for the delivery of its packet data gateway solution.
