Malaysian towerco EDOTCO has renewed its lease with Malaysia’s largest mobile operator, CelcomDigi.

Multinational retail corporation Carrefour has today announced a partnership with international communications enabler BICS to launch a new ‘travel eSIM’ offering via its mobile operator arm.

Australian telco Telstra has partnered with Vonage, an Ericsson subsidiary focused on cloud communications.

It’s now five years on from the launch of the first commercial 5G networks, and adoption shows no signs of slowing. 5G now accounts for around 1 in 5 mobile device connections and will surpass LTE as the most widely used generation of mobile connectivity in the next few years.
