B.V. Jagadeesh has been appointed as president and CEO of Virtela, the international network services company.
Before joining Virtela, Jagadeesh worked as the group vice president and GM of Citrix Systems’ Application Networking Group, after the company bought NetScaler, the application delivery appliance company, where he was president and CEO. His achievements there include leading Citrix’s acquisition of NetScaler for $325 million. Jagadeesh also serves as chairman of the board of NetMagic Solutions, an Indian IT services company.
Jagadeesh replaces interim CEO Vab Goel, who is a partner with Norwest Venture Partners.
