Coughran is the senior VP of engineering at Google and has over 20 years experience in building scalable computer systems and cloud-based services as well as serving as an industry technologist and researcher at various institutions. He also brings his experience as CEO of start-up Entrisphere which he co-founded and serves on the board of Clearwell Systems. Allen will take the role of audit committee chair and recently served as EVP of business operations for NetApp and as CFO between 1996 and 2002. Allen has experience in the telecoms and computing industry through his previous roles with Bay Networks, SynOptics and a 17-year career with Hewlett-Packard.
