Dario Calia has been appointed as vice president of product development at cloud infrastructure provider Vello Systems. He will be responsible for leading development of Vello’s network virtualisation platform technologies and products.
Prior to his new role, Calia spent 17 years at Cisco where he worked on routing and security products, focusing on software development, including the development of Cisco’s IOS XR operating system for routing.
Most recently, he led the development of Cisco security appliances for enterprise and carrier networks. Before working for Cisco, Calia held positions in IBM’s networking division.
