Suresh Vaidyanathan, head of brand and PR at Tata India told local media that the company is committed to long-term development in the country and that it plans to accelerate development in multiple sectors. These will include Tata’s Indian enterprise business, terminal business and 2G capacity expansion, as well as 3G and LTE technical platforms.
Vaidyanathan also said that the company is planning to balance its revenue in the country, the majority of which comes from Huawei’s traditional operator business.
The company opened a global network operations centre (GNOC) in India last month. The Bangalore GNOC is set to provide services including network design, customer support, network optimisation, systems integration, and network transformation.
