Etisalat has announced the appointment of Dr Daniel Ritz as CSO.
Dr Ritz is an international telecoms, IT, and media expert with over 20 years professional experience. His previous position was as CSO at Swisscom where he engaged with leading international organisations and reorganized group strategy and corporate venturing. He was also entrusted with the position of CEO of Swisscom Slovakia.
Dr Ritz has an information management degree, and a doctorate in business economics from the University of St Gallen. He is also a member of the group executive board at SwissCom, and the chairman of Swisscom Hospitality Services.
