Vodafone has appointed Analjit Singh as non-executive chairman of Vodafone India.
Singh is the founder and chairman of Max India and its subsidiaries, as well as the former non-executive chairman of Indian shared telecoms infrastructure services company, Indus Towers. Singh is also a director on the board of several Indian companies including Tata Global Beverages, Hero MotoCorp and Dabur.
Singh was recently awarded one of India’s highest civilian honours, the Padma Bhushanm by the President of India for his contribution towards building India Inc and he is also a member of the joint Indo-US CEOs Forum.
