Telefónica’s O2 UK has appointed Martin Harriman as a business director. He joins the company from LightSquared where he has been EVP since 2009.
Harriman previously held the position of chief commercial director of Augere, where he was a founding member of the company. He has also held a number of senior executive positions at Ericsson in Sweden.
His accomplishments in the public and private sectors include setting up a new $5 billion turnover business unit, founding a start-up wireless broadband business that attracted $150 million of initial funding, and setting up a $5 billion national wireless operator in the US.
