Bill Morrow has been appointed as CEO of Vodafone Hutchison Australia (VHA). Morrow is an experienced telecoms executive, having served as both CEO of Clearwire and Europe CEO at Vodafone. He has also run Vodafone Group’s businesses in Japan and the UK.
Morrow replaces Nigel Dews, who has been CEO of VHA since the merger of Vodafone and Hutchison’s Australian operations in 2009.
Hutchison Whampoa’s finance director, Frank Sixt, said: “Vodafone Hutchison Australia is an important part of our global telecommunications portfolio. Bill is a widely respected industry veteran, and we are delighted to welcome him to VHA.”
