Cyan has appointed Mark Floyd as CEO. He first joined the Cyan board in 2007 and was appointed chairman in January 2012.
Floyd has a long history in the telecoms industry and most recently served in the positions of CEO at SafeNet, board chairman at NetSocket and a director at Riverbed.
Prior to this he was CEO at Entrisphere, which was sold to Ericsson, and founder and CEO of Efficient Networks, which was sold to Siemens in 2001.
Floyd has experience within the venture capital industry as a partner at El Dorado Venture and an executive at Crosspoint Ventures. He has also held executive positions at NetWorth, Interphase, Scott Instruments, and Texas Instruments.
