It is thought the move could help reduce the deployment and operational costs of the LTE network, as well as boost the development of next-generation mobile technologies across the nation.
Yota launched its commercial LTE network in Moscow this May, and according to TeleGeography has since gone on to offer the service in Krasnodar, Sochi and the Volga Region.
Earlier this week, the company revealed that it will switch on its latest 4G network in Ufa, the capital and largest city of the Republic of Bashkortostan, at the end of July.
Further network launches are also reportedly planned in St Petersburg, Samara, Vladivostok and Kostroma by the end of 2012.
