Farhad Khan has been appointed executive for the enterprise business division of MTN Group.
He will be responsible for the implementation of MTN’s enterprise strategy and structure across all operations and report to group chief commercial officer, Christian de Faria.
Khan was previously CEO of MTN Zambia where he was responsible for increasing the company’s market share by approximately 16%.
He joined MTN in 2003 as general manager of the marketing department for MTN South Africa’s business segment.
In 2005, he became marketing and customer relations executive for a team deployed to setup operations in Iran.
