Herb Hribar has been appointed as CEO at eircom Group, and member of the board at eircom Holdco and eircom Holdings. He will take up his role in early September.
Hribar has previously served in both the telecommunications and TV industries across both Europe and the US.
His former positions include president of Ameritech Wireless, managing director of Kabel Deutschland and COO of Cablecom in Switzerland.
He has also worked at eircom previously as managing director of wholesale/networks from 2002 to 2004.
“Herb will lead the continued transformation of eircom,” said Ned Sullivan, chairman of eircom Group.
