The facility, which is located in an industrial park close to the city’s central business district, will provide hosting space and cloud solutions for financial, media and technology enterprises.
It will also provide several connectivity options including colocation services and a backbone network, allowing access to Telstra Global’s Asian network and the rest of the world.

Increasing our data centre footprint in Singapore positions us well to meet the needs of our customers, with robust business solutions based on our first class hosting and global connectivity,” said Richard Duggan, head of South Asia, at Telstra Global.
Telstra Global customers will be offered disaster recovery capabilities from the site with low latency connectivity to existing facilities.
Through the launch Telstra adds to its footprint in the region which includes data centres in Hong Kong, the Philippines, Australia and New Zealand.
To date the company has approximately 14,000 square metres of data centre space globally and operates data centres in six countries.
