The service, set to launch tomorrow, will allow the management of communication lines via DoCoMo’s mobile network in Japan and over 200 countries internationally.
It will work by connecting M2M communication lines in over 200 countries with a unified web interface, allowing corporate customers to manage their M2M solutions worldwide.
NTT DoCoMo said that unlike other M2M platforms requiring customisation to each local mobile operator’s communication line, its solution allows customers to eliminate the cost of operating multiple M2M platforms.
The solution utilises Jasper Wireless’ M2M platform and will offer real-time monitoring of data usage and communication fees, remote control of communication lines and diagnosis of communication failures.
