The launch will allow NTT to offer a wider range of ICT services to multinational companies in Vietnam through a combination of its local sales subsidiary’s and GDS’ offerings.
GDS will serve enterprise customers providing services for sectors including online gaming and e-commerce. The company also plans to provide SLA backed network services for multicarrier connectivity nationwide.
New services made available by GDS also include direct connection to domestic internet exchanges, internet access and video conferencing.
By combining these services with its existing data centre, cloud computing and system integration services, NTT says it can now offer customer tailored solutions covering operation, maintenance and support.
"We have been pleased with the high quality of NTT Com's data centre services, which we use to provide internet services in Vietnam. We are delighted that the government of Vietnam now has awarded NTT Com a licence for network services. This wide range of reliable, high-quality ICT services will enable multinational companies to grow their businesses more efficiently in Vietnam," said Park Jong Buhm, CEO of NHN Vietnam.
