The UK-based vendor’s solution is expected to allow Eris Telecom to expand its capacity and extend its services to further regions, as part of the operator’s strategy for growth.
“With DIGITALK Carrier Cloud, we get a quick and ready-to-use solution supporting most of our network call routing and management requirements,” said Tariq Siddique, director of voice services at Eris Telecom.
“It simplifies our approach...and will help us grow our international voice traffic, matching our ambitions in the Middle East and Africa.”
Eris Telecom is also expected to benefit from the ability to manage its own carrier arrangements and configure routing plans in real-time, with no hardware deployment.
The service will further provide network capabilities such as flexible signalling interworking and media transcoding.
“DIGITALK Carrier Cloud...makes the management and routing of voice traffic more efficient and ultimately more profitable for the business,” said Paul Bassa, VP of product marketing at DIGITALK.
“As Eris Telecom grows its business across new markets, DIGITALK Carrier Cloud can help it to deliver services in new markets in days instead of weeks or months.”
