The Africa operator has selected iXTools platform, in addition to the company’s business to business exchange service iXLink to automate the management of its growing international voice platform.
Its network spans across 13000km and runs from the north of Uganda to Cape Town, supplying wholesale fibre optic, satellite and connectivity services in the continent.
Telarix’s SaaS platform is a fully hosted and managed interconnect business optimisation service, enabling service providers to reduce costs and increase profitability across interconnect networks. The company’s iXLink, which the company claims has 3300 carriers exchanging information on the platform, allows for real time insight into data, as well as stopping revenue leakage and profit management tools.
“Liquid has taken its place as a major pan-African communications connectivity provider,” said Ramzi Shalak head of international networks at Liquid Telecom. “Telarix will help ensure that we meet our own QoS standards as the voice traffic on our network continues to grow.”
