Each agreement is for border gateway protocol (BGP) internet services, and will reportedly ensure scalable expansion opportunities for customers.
The agreements are with Pacnet’s Chinese venture, Pacnet Business Solutions (PBS), which the company claims is the first Sino-foreign joint venture in the country to have been awarded licences from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
Pacnet is placing a heavy focus on expansion in China and earlier this year it opened a data centre in Chongqing, China.
