GoHigh is expected to distribute OneAccess’ Layer 3 range of products throughout China, including the company’s 1G Ethernet routers, as well as voice and data business gateways.
“We approached OneAccess as we were looking for an innovative partner able to develop and supply products to meet unaddressed requirements in the Chinese market and which would also be recognised and respected by the telco and high-end corporate market,” said Zhang Xinzhong, VP of GoHigh.
Xinzhong expects the agreement to allow GoHigh to compete more efficiently for new business, and Betrand Meis, CEO at OneAccess, said the deal would further complement the Chinese networking company’s product range.
“China represents its own unique challenges to companies looking to grow business revenues there, so this agreement is also a vital step for OneAccess,” he said.
“Through this agreement with one of China’s biggest players, we are confident we can build a lasting partnership and grow our Chinese user base significantly.”
Datang Telecom Technology & Industry Group is reportedly the third largest telecoms group in China, and GoHigh employs 3,500 people in 33 regions across the country.
In March this year, OneAccess partnered with mobile satellite operator Thuraya Telecommunications Company for tailored broadband solutions.
