Radoslaw Kedzia has been appointed CEO of Huawei Uganda. Kedzia has been working for the company since 2008 and leaves his position as regional CTO (VP) for the east and southern region, and COO of Huawei Technologies in Kenya for the role.
He has over 15 years experience and will be the company’s first ever non-Chinese CEO. He has previously worked as a solutions architect at Ericsson, and has worked locally as head of research and development at Safaricom.
He will work closely with Huawei Kenya’s CEO, Wind Li. The company hope Kedzia will help to lift western suspicion, following reports of controversy over its cyber security.
