Telekom Austria has appointed Günther Ottendorfer as CTO of its executive board.
Ottendorfer, 44, who is presently managing director of Optus SingTel, will take the post once his contract is terminated with SingTel’s Australian arm. He has been appointed on a three-year deal with the option to extend it by another two.
Ottendorfer, the third appointment to the board, adds to CEO Hannes Ametsreiter and CFO Hans Tschuden. The 44-year-old was “unanimously appointed†by the supervisory board of Telekom Austria and has over 20 years experience in the industry.
Ottendorfer was previously CTO of T-Mobile Austria and T-Mobile Germany.
