AT&T has appointed Mike McCallister to its board of directors, where he will serve on the audit committee.
McCallister retired from his position as CEO at Humana at the end of 2012 having worked for the company since 1974, and being appointed to CEO in 2000.
He remains chairman of the board of directors at Humana. According to Randall Stephenson, chairman and CEO at AT&T, his knowledge and experience will prove valuable to the AT&T board.
“Mike is an outstanding business executive and one of the health care industry’s true innovators,” Stephenson commented. McCallister also serves on the boards of Fifth Third Bank and Bellarmine University.
