The board of directors at TeliaSonera International Carrier Services has appointed Per-Arne Blomquist as acting president and CEO. Blomquist will replace Lars Nyberg following his resignation in February 2013.
For six years Blomquist has held the position of executive vice president and CEO of SEB. He started his telecoms career in 1989 at Alfa Laval, and has since progressed to various managerial positions in Telia, as well as holding the head of group finance position at SEB from 2001 to 2006.
Blomquist is also a board member of Lernia AB and Djurgården Hockey AB, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics.
