Telenor Satellite Broadcasting has appointed Morten Tengs as CEO of the company. He replaces Cato Halsaa who is to retire this summer.
Tengs has been part of the Telenor Group since 1995 and leaves his position as SVP at Telenor Group’s regional office in Asia for the new role.
Patrik Hofbauer, SVP and CEO of Telenor Broadcast, said of Morgen Tengs: “His broad experience and competence from executive positions in several Telenor companies will be an important contribution to further development of Telenor Satellite Broadcasting.” Tengs graduated as an engineer in Grimstad, Norway and also holds a Masters degree in Economics.
