The 4GEE service will now cover 60% of the UK population, with the additional towns including Altrincham, Bedford, Camberley, Crawley, Farnborough, Farnham, Maidstone, Rochdale, Tonbridge and Welwyn Garden City added to its footprint.
EE expects this percentage to increase to 98% by the year end, and has also switched on double-speed 4G in Belfast, Newcastle and Southampton.
Earlier this month the company launched double-speed 4G, which reportedly reaches speeds of 60Mbps, in 12 UK towns.
