Robert Haulbrook, president and CEO at GTA told local reporters: “Today, a vast majority of our customers are smartphone users and rely heavily on the use of mobile data. With the launch of 4G LTE and our ability to provide our customers with the latest 4G LTE handsets, our post-paid wireless customers can now enjoy faster data speeds.”
GTA will reportedly offer the service to existing customers at no extra charge, and plans to extend the reach of its LTE network in 2014.
In February this year, DoCoMo Pacific selected Nokia Solutions and Networks (NSN) to deploy its 4G LTE network in Guam.
