Deployed as a cloud solution, the platform – called FLEXify – targets industries such as energy, plant construction and water management. It also features an early-warning system for flooding.

With FLEXify, we allow our customers to start with a flexible and cost-effective hosted system without large development efforts or investment risks”, said Bernd Liebscher, CEO, Telekom Austria M2M.
At the end of last year, Telekom Austria became the latest European operator to outline its focus on M2M after claiming it has struck up to 80 deals with enterprise customers for M2M. Its latest initiative, announced in December 2012, is intended to focus on the CEE region.
