Huawei expects revenues of around $4 billion from its 4G mobile network unit – compared to $2 billion for this year – and also expects its overall wireless market revenue to notably increase.
David Wang, president at Wireless Network, told reporters in Shanghai that he expects the overall wireless market to total $12.9 billion next year, compared to $11.7 billion this year.
Chinese regulators issued 4G licences to China Mobile, China Unicom Hong Kong and China Telecom this month, and earlier this year, China Mobile awarded half of its 4G contracts to Huawei and ZTE.
