The service will go live in due course, as the company targets increased speeds on its mobile network.
Rival operator Telefónica – which provides fixed and mobile services to O2 Germany – has already made VoLTE technology available, following successful laboratory trials of the technology last year.
ZTE announced that it had completed the first VoLTE call in June last year, in partnership with China Mobile.
