Samsung appoints new European head

South Korean tech company Samsung has appointed Giuseppe Donagemma to head up its European operations, Samsung Networks Europe.

Donagemma joined Nokia Solutions and Networks (NSN) in 1994, where he held a number of different positions. He was responsible for the company’s operations in Europe from 2009 to early 2012. Since then, he has been an advisor and board member for several ICT and private equity companies.

“We are very glad to announce Giuseppe’s appointment and wish him success in his new role. Giuseppe is extremely experienced, so we are confident that as our new Head of SNE, he will support Samsung in strengthening its European network business,” said president and head of networks at Samsung Electronics, Youngky Kim.
