At the same time, Sprint announced that its Spark service has launched in two new markets: Provo, Utah and Trenton, N.J. Spark is an enhanced LTE service that is built for data and designed to deliver peak wireless speeds of 60Mbps.
“Sprint’s all-new network is providing our customers significantly better call quality and faster data speeds in more places,” said John Saw, chief network officer at Sprint.
The operator expects to be able to provide LTE coverage to 250 million people by the middle of this year.
