LTE Advanced can theoretically give speeds of a maximum 225Mbps, and the company said it will launch in approximately 10 cities in the country, including Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
The roll-out will then extend to 50 medium and small cities by the end of the year, and the service will combine 10MHz in the 800MHz band for up to 75Mbps speeds and 20MHz in the 1800MHz band.
Its launch will also be dependent on the development of capable handsets, with Vodafone also planning to introduce VoLTE services in the second half of the year, with a commercial launch planned in mid-2015.
According to reports, it has already tested HD voice on 3G and will extend the coverage to 4G in the future.
Other cities covered in the roll-out for LTE Advanced include The Hague, Utrecht, Leiden, Eindhoven, Den Bosch and Schiphol.
