John Blount, tw president and COO, is an 18-year company veteran and will serve as Level 3’s regional president for the company’s operations across the North America and Asia-Pacific regions.
Andrew Crouch, who presently heads up those regions, will become regional president for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
The second tw executive to join will be Harold Teets, SVP of information and network technologies, who will take over Level 3’s IT organisation as Chief Information Officer (CIO).
Level 3 signed an agreement last month to acquire tw telecom in a cash and stock transaction worth $5.7 billion.

The deal – which is expected to close in Q4 2014 – is Level 3’s biggest acquisition to date.
