According the Mobistar CEO Jean Marc Harion, Orange is not in the market to sell off its majority stake in the company.
“I read that there is interest in Mobistar from other players,” he said. “We have said repeatedly, and our main shareholder has said this: there are no plans to sell Mobistar.”
Local reports have suggested that French cable company Numericable is one of the operators interested in investing in the Belgian market, with Mobistar a likely target.
