Syarif Syaril Ahmad, CEO at Telin, said that negotiations were underway and a deal is expected to finalise within the year.
Telin is a subsidiary of Indonesia’s biggest telecoms firm, PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom), which has been investing in expansion worldwide and earlier this month, announced plans to spend $200 million on Silicon Valley startups.
Telin planned a capital expenditure of approximately $1.28 billion for this year, and has reportedly spent 40% of this amount in the first half of 2014.
